Welcome to my little corner :)
If you come across this, you probably already know a little about me but I'd figure I'd go ahead and do a quick little introduction for you all.
My name is Joana and I'm just another reader out here in the universe trying to navigate life. I love to read! I consider myself a multi-genre reader to the max! I love fantasy, romance, science fiction, contemporary, etc. I love trying out new genres and challenging myself to reading new things. For a lot of people, they see reading as means for enjoyment but I see reading as means of research. I like to critique the books that I read, respectfully of course, and provide in-depth reviews while trying to stay as spoiler free as possible. I'm not the fastest reader, I don't care too much about metrics.
My priority is to just read, write reviews, and put it out there.
Some nonbookish facts about me... well, I love trying new foods. If you have any recommendations, let me know. :)

What Is This Place?
Consider this space my personal digital journal. My main goal here is pretty simple:
- Book Reviews & Recommendations: Unfiltered and honest breakdowns of what I’m reading in addition to book recommendations. I realize that there are several people out there that have different tastes, so a book that might not have worked for me might be the perfect pick for you and I don't shy away from still recommending them.
My reviews are split into two categories: Book Reviews and ARCs. If you don't know what ARCs are, they are Advanced Reader Copies. It's an early, near-final version of a book given to reviewers, librarians, booksellers, and influencers before the official release date. I receive both physical ARCs (actual books) but I also read a lot of eARCs (sent to my Kindle). Should you ever have any questions on how yourself can get into it, let me know and I'm happy to help. - Monthly Wrap-Up Newsletters: A recap delivered straight to you once a month so you never miss a beat on what was read sprinkled with some other miscellaneous things that I might find interesting to share.
Why Subscribe? (and what RSS means for you!)
If you want to stick around, subscribing or adding this site keeps us connected without having to rely on social media algorithms. See this as a forum, really.
Beyond getting posts delivered directly to you, signing up allows you to jump into the comment section. With every post I make, you’ll be able to leave your thoughts under my book reviews, pitch your own recommendations, and start discussions with me and others whenever you want. All I ask is that you keep this place respectful.
Grab your drink of choice, stay a while, and let's talk books :)
